Featured Transformation
Ella Green Spices & Tea
Amara ran a small roadside stall in Ella selling pure spices, but tourist footprint alone was not enough. Kasun Alwis helped her create a complete brand design, package products professionally, setup a WhatsApp Business catalog, and list the shop on Google Maps. Now, tourists order online even after returning to their countries.
“D-Force changed my business. I did not know how to use a smartphone to sell products, but Kasun came to my shop and taught me everything step-by-step.”
Impact Directory
Bandara Clay Pottery
Traditional pottery makers like Kamal have faced declining local sales. Dilini redesigned the Bandara Pottery logo, took stunning high-res photos of clay pots, and set up social media channels. They launched a Kandy Delivery campaign which was a massive hit among urban households seeking traditional organic clay cookware.
“My traditional designs now travel to Colombo and Galle. Dilini showcased our work to Sri Lanka in a way we never could.”
Palmyrah Weavers Cooperative
The Palmyrah weavers of Chavakachcheri were reliant on local wholesale traders who bought their work at extremely low prices. Mohamed Farook stepped in, helped them form a digital brand identity, and set up a direct sales system through WhatsApp. The weavers now pocket 100% of the profits directly.
“We were losing our weavers because of low income. But now, we receive direct orders from hotels and designers through the phone.”
